Hotel Victorie - Amsterdam

What a pity this hotel didn't meet my expectations. I expected a welcome gift for my troubles, but alas, no. Breakfast was a bust too, arriving late and being refused a crumb was deflating. I almost gave a good review, but couldn't.

The location was comfortable and perfect, just off transports and 2 tram lines, in a quiet area.

Easy access to Heineken hall.

Nice confortable mattress. Good breakfast.

A bit far from town centre if you don't take the tram and don't like walking. the The undersheets were a bit small and given no one made the bed for the second night it became a bit unconfortable.

The room was clean & tidy with friendly shaff. The breakfast was enjoyable.

The single room I had was very small. Altough I asked for secure facilities for my bicycle at the time of booking, it seen to be an afterthought when I arrived, indicating I lock it up outside on the publis footway. However, a secure facility was arranged.

Unexpected challenges but friendly staff

While the breakfast presented a good start to the day, I was especially grateful for the staff's unwavering politeness .

I faced an inconvenience as the room was too chilly, compounded by the long wait to receive extra blankets.

the hotel was a small hotel, but the rooms were very much clean. its bit far away from the city centre you have to take a tram to city centre about 20 min ride.

I like very much all the services. The staff attended perfectily allI needed. The room is very clear and the breakfast have a great quality.

I want to appoint 2 itens - in the bathroom don t have a carpet and local for you put shampoo and soap. Just it.

Ready, Set, Regret (Or Not!)

To my surprise, this hotel providedsuper clean and cozy rooms with a bright ambiance. The staff was friendly, and room service. Although the location is a bit out of the way from the city center, two tram lines nearby made exploring easy. A decent option for budget travelers!

The staff is fantastic, as well as owner. The hotel is in an awesome location near a tram station. There's a good choice of restaurants to choose from, like Yuan's Hot Pot, set within 10 minutes walk or so.

I am a doctor from Malaysia. This is one of my best trip to Europe. The hotel was so close to all the destination and I could access to even the airport within a short time; with cheap and easy transportation. One can experience the western and eastern lifestyle in the hotel. This is definately not a 2 star hotel, maybe 3 or 4 star perhaps.Tthe boss and their workers are very friendly and approachable.

The location was fantastic, very close to public transport! We enjoyed the simple yet tasty breakfast, and the staff went out of their way to help us with directions. Traveling with a little baby made their assistance invaluable and appreciated.

My kids wished for more family-friendly activities at the hotel.

Location was slightly far from city centre but not a problem because of the wonderful tram service in Amsterdam. Trams number 4 and 25 (they are at different stops) come from/go to the city centre and Heineken Experience at Weteringcircuit.and tram number 12 (same stop as 25) goes to Van Gogh Museum. No stairs so it might be a hindrance for some people with huge luggages, but staff was helpful enough to help 2 of my female friends with their luggage. Breakfast was in a cute room with cute shelves. Room was small but expected in Amsterdam for the price paid. All in all, a fine stay in Amsterdam, would choose it again.

Friendly staff and very good breakfast

No lift and steep starcase - I stayed on the 4th floor. However, I understand that a lift is going to be installed early next year.
